Not famous, Heather, maybe getting a little headstrong. Thanks for visiting the website. I haven't done much traveling or photography lately, so the next few posts might be some "old stuff." Hope you still find it enjoyable. OH, and I finally got my "old My Photographic Memories" blog back! it's at http://my-photographic-memories.blogspot.com I have some older photos there that are kinda ok. I even posted one that my daughter-in-law took in China. I really like that one. Well, more later. Thanks again.
Hi Jayne, you are kind to say that! I appreciate it very much. I am pretty new to digital photography and need all the "props" I can get. Monet is exactly who came to mind when I looked at some of the photos back at home. Especially the lily pads, aren't they great? I had never seen them with the red edges. that water lily display in San Angelo is one of only 5 internationally certified displays in the world! Pretty amazing. I am looking forward to going back and shooting some more... Please come back any time. I try to post something every week. Mike Z

Terrific slide show! Great photography and such vivid colors. No wonder Monet never tired of painting water lillies. :-)
